Equipment Description
Labconco FlaskScrubber 4420320 undercounter laboratory glassware washer, catalog number 4420320, serial number 180457275, built in 2018. The FlaskScrubber is designed to wash and dry narrow-neck laboratory glassware such as volumetric flasks, cylinders and bottles. Water and detergent are pumped through spindles in the lower rack so the interior surfaces of the glassware are reached directly, and the unit uses separate wash and drain pumps to limit cross-contamination. The washer is built as a 115 volt, 60 Hz, single-phase undercounter unit drawing approximately 16 amps, with a stainless steel chamber and a 36-spindle stainless steel lower spindle rack. Per Labconco's published data for this catalog number the wash temperature reaches approximately 180 F (82 C), water consumption is about 3.4 gallons per cycle, and connections are 3/8 in. NPT(F) municipal hot water with a 3/8 in. hose barb for distilled water and 3/4 in. ID tubing for drain. The exterior is nominally 24 in. wide, 27 in. deep and 34 to 36 in. high on adjustable leveling feet. Photos of this unit show the blue control panel with LCD information center and membrane keypad, the stainless front panel with FlaskScrubber badge, and the open chamber with the upper and lower spindle racks and glassware holders/clips in place, plus the detergent and rinse aid dispensers in the door. The LCD is lit and reading in one photo, so the unit powers on. The catalog/serial tag is on the inner door frame. The washer is presently installed under a laboratory bench and is connected to water supply and drain, so plumbing and electrical disconnection will be required before removal. Cosmetically the cabinet shows water staining and general use marks; the unit carries a facility asset tag reading 112241 and a "No Calibration Required" sticker dated July 20, 2022. No further condition, service history or accessory information was recorded beyond what the photos show.
