LabRepCo LHU-49-HG Ultra Series Double Glass Door Laboratory Refrigerator

LabRepCo Ultra Series LHU-49-HG upright laboratory refrigerator with two self-closing hinged double-pane glass doors and approximately 49 cu. ft. of interior storage. Cabinets of this series are used for the refrigerated storage of media, reagents, buffers, standards and other temperature-sensitive laboratory materials, and are normally operated around a +4 degrees C set point with a typical control range of about +1 to +10 degrees C. The data plate on this unit (photo 6) reads model LHU-49-HG, serial LRC-9091295-1910, 115 V, 4.5 A, 60 Hz, single phase, 1/4 HP compressor, charged with 3.7 oz of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, with high/low design pressures of 350/150 psi. It is ETL listed by Intertek, conforming to UL STD 471 and certified to CSA STD C22.2 No. 120. The cabinet is a painted-steel upright on casters with a forced-air interior, a control/display panel with a keyed lock in the recessed panel at the base of the unit behind the lower louvered grille, and interior LED lighting strips along both door openings. Each of the two compartments is fitted with adjustable coated wire shelves on slotted uprights (photos 4 and 5); a few shelf edges carry handwritten contents labels from the seller's laboratory. A power cord is visible at the right rear of the unit in photo 1. The unit was photographed in place at a biopharmaceutical facility and carries facility asset, biohazard and emergency-generator-power stickers on the header panel. Contents are not included. No condition or functional testing information was recorded during the site visit.
