Lonza 4D-Nucleofector Core Unit with 96-Well Shuttle Unit Electroporation System

Lonza 4D-Nucleofector System consisting of a 4D-Nucleofector Core Unit (serial no. 923B2284) and a 4D-Nucleofector 96-well Unit (serial no. 923S2051). The 4D-Nucleofector platform is a benchtop electroporation/nucleofection system used in research laboratories to transfect nucleic acids directly into the nucleus of cell lines, primary cells and stem cells using cell-type-specific Nucleofector programs and solutions. The Core Unit houses the pulse generator, the color touchscreen interface and the program library; the stacked 96-well Unit is the medium-throughput functional module for nucleofection in 96-well plate format. The Core Unit is operated from the tilted touchscreen display on the front panel and carries two front USB ports plus three rear USB ports and an Ethernet network port for data transfer and software updates. The functional 96-well Unit connects to the Core Unit through the Lonza Interface In/Out ports with the supplied shielded interface cable, so the two modules stack and operate as one system. The rear nameplate rates the Core Unit at 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz, self-regulating, 140 VA, IP 20, for 15-40 degrees C ambient operation, with a 250 V T2.5A fuse. Both modules are CE marked and are labeled Lonza Cologne GmbH, Made in Germany; the 96-well Unit nameplate also lists EN 61010-1 and UL 61010-1. The photos show the two stacked modules on a laboratory bench with the power cord and interface cable attached; the blue power indicator on the Core Unit front panel appears illuminated. No Nucleofector plates, cassettes, reagents, PC or additional accessories are shown in the photos.
