Lot of 2 Bio-Rad C1000 Touch Thermal Cycler with Dual 48/48 Fast Reaction Module

Bio-Rad C1000 Touch Thermal Cycler fitted with a dual 48/48 fast reaction module. The C1000 Touch is a benchtop end-point PCR instrument built on an interchangeable reaction-module chassis with a color touchscreen interface used to build, run and store thermal cycling protocols. The dual 48/48 fast module gives two independent sample blocks (A and B), so two separate protocols can be run at the same time on one instrument.

The nameplate on the underside of the unit (photo 7) reads C1000 Touch Thermal Cycler, serial number CT038340, input 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz, 850 W maximum power, date of manufacture 2019/05, made in Singapore, with CE and ETL/Intertek marks. It runs on a standard single-phase bench outlet and is hand carryable. Photos 4 and 5 show the two heated-lid blocks open with the sample wells and sealing gaskets in place; the front panel carries the touchscreen with a USB-A port at the lower right for protocol transfer and storage.

This listing covers two C1000 Touch chassis photographed together on the lab bench (photo 1); the second unit carries the instrument ID CT037559 and a nameplate date of 2019/04 (photos 3 and 6). Both units wear biohazard labels and third-party service stickers; the sticker on the unit in photo 3 records preventive maintenance dated 03 June 2021 with the next service due 31 May 2022. Line cords are present in the photos. Power-on status was not recorded at the site visit and the screens are not lit in any photo.
