The IKA ElectraSyn 2.0 is a standardized, benchtop laboratory device engineered to combine electrosynthesis, cyclic voltammetry (CV), and magnetic stirring into a single, compact workstation.

IKA Carousel Information:

IKA ElectraSyn 2.0 Carousel Attachment

The IKA Carousel Attachment expands the ElectraSyn 2.0 from a single-reactor system into a six-reactor screening platform, enabling parallel electrochemical reactions in a compact, efficiently engineered configuration.

The patented Carousel, introduced at the 2017 ACS Meeting, features:

Individual vial detection.

Constant current across all six vials connected in series, with real-time voltage monitoring.

Built-in device voltage limit based on the combined actual voltage of all reactions.

High-resistance detection and automatic bypass to maintain constant current.

Consistent stirring speed across all six positions, up to 1,200 rpm.

Compatibility with IKA vials, supporting up to three Pro-Divide vials or six undivided-cell vials.

This attachment is well suited for parallel reaction screening and higher-throughput electrochemical synthesis using the ElectraSyn 2.0 platform.
