Lot of Bio-Rad PowerPac HC Power Supplies with Mini-PROTEAN Electrophoresis Cells

This lot consists of two Bio-Rad PowerPac HC programmable DC power supplies together with Bio-Rad Mini-PROTEAN electrophoresis cells and related accessories. The PowerPac HC is a high-current power supply used to drive protein and nucleic acid gel electrophoresis as well as tank and semi-dry blotting, and is marked on the front cover for 250 V, 3.0 A and 300 W output.

Each unit operates from a 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz single-phase supply at 450 W input, as read from the rear nameplates (serial numbers 043BR81842 and 043BR82065), and both carry CE marking. Control is through a two-line LCD with a simple keypad providing setup, reset, constant V/A/W selection, cursor and value keys and a run/pause key, allowing timed and multistep programmed runs with the run parameters shown on one screen. Four pairs of recessed output jacks on the front panel allow several cells to be run in parallel.

The photos also show Bio-Rad Mini-PROTEAN style vertical electrophoresis cells with clamping frames and casting stands, tank lids with banana-plug leads, a red casting/staining tray, gel releasers and a bulb-type accessory on the bench.
