Equipment Description
Lot of five benchtop dry baths / heat blocks removed from a biopharmaceutical laboratory. The lot consists of VWR Digital Heatblock and Analog Heatblock units (nameplates read cat. no. 12621-088 / model 949302 "VWR Digital 2 Block Heater", cat. no. 12621-104 / model 949310 "VWR Analog 1 Block Heater", and cat. no. 13259-052 / model 949036 "Heatblock II") together with one Labnet International AccuBlock Digital Dry Bath, model D1200.

Dry baths of this type are used for incubation and activation of cultures, enzyme reactions, immunoassays, melting and boiling point work and general sample heating. The digital VWR units have a temperature display with plate/probe and actual/set-point indicators, up/down temperature keys, an integrated timer with its own display and on/off keys, and a power key with standby indicator; the published rating for the 12621-088 two-block unit is 120 V, 50/60 Hz, 1 phase, 210 W. The analog units are controlled by low and high temperature adjust knobs with a low/off/high rocker switch and a heat indicator lamp, and the single-block analog unit is rated 120 V, 110 W. The Labnet AccuBlock D1200 is rated 115 VAC, 60 Hz, 2 A and has a digital temperature display, up/down and start/stop keys, heating and set temp indicators and a rear serial port.

Several of the units are shown with modular anodized aluminum tube blocks installed - blue two-piece blocks for micro-centrifuge and larger tubes on the VWR digital units and stainless/aluminum blocks on the Labnet and other units - and a temperature probe is fitted to the AccuBlock in the photos. Blocks appear in the photos but block sizes and the number of blocks supplied should be confirmed by the buyer.

Condition is as photographed: bench-top units in a working laboratory, with an asset/calibration barcode label on one analog unit and hand-written "do not turn off" notes taped to two of the units, indicating they were in active service at the time of the visit. The AccuBlock display and heating indicator appear illuminated in the photos. All units are free-standing benchtop instruments with standard 120 V line cords.
