Maruho Hatsujyo Innovations Eagle Omni Filling Line

The equipment was originally used to manufacture and package MELT infused ice cubes, a liquid-based product containing water, fruit juice, and THC distillate. The system was also designed with the flexibility to handle other liquid formulations, including gelatin-based products.

The system handles thermoformed plastic blister trays containing 10 individual cavities, with an original target fill volume of approximately 10 mL per cavity.

The Eagle Omni performs tray forming, filling, sealing, and perforation, working with a separate Rocky Mountain PLC liquid filling system.

The original production configuration was approximately 10 mL per cavity, or 100 mL per 10-cavity tray.

The installed Rocky Mountain filling pumps are rated at 1 liter per minute. Actual production throughput depends on the filling configuration, product characteristics, and packaging cycle time.

The filling system was designed for ingestible liquid formulations, including water- and juice-based products. It incorporates peristaltic pumps with replaceable product-contact tubing.

The equipment is suitable in design for beverage-filling applications, subject to verification of the current tubing specifications and applicable food-contact requirements.

The Rocky Mountain filler was engineered to interface electronically with the MHI Eagle Omni packaging machine, and the equipment was used together during production.

The line includes the Eagle Omni forming/sealing equipment, Rocky Mountain liquid filler, and associated chiller.
