Mast Yeast Block Processing And Packaging Line With Cutter, Metal Detector, Tray Former And Wrapper

This machine is designed to produce compact blocks of yeast, wrap them securely in aluminum foil, and then package the wrapped blocks into cardboard cartons. It supports two block formats:
-57 g blocks measuring 60 × 32 × 32 mm
-17 g blocks measuring 30 × 30 × 18 mm

This machine is constructed from stainless steel, fully complies with the mandatory food-processing machinery standard EN 1672-2, and carries CE certification.

Input material: Crumbled yeast packaged in 50LB bags.

Feeding method: Yeast bags are opened and dropped into a hopper where it is mixed by two rotating shafts.

Mixing system: Dual-shaft mixer inside the hopper ensures uniform compression and yeast consistency.

Extrusion mechanism: Auger screw compresses and pushes the yeast through an extrusion cone.

Output: Continuous rectangular strip of yeast.

Extrusion size options: Two different reduction gears available at the extrusion outlet to modify block dimensions.

Support surface: Teflon surface guiding the extruded strip toward the cutting tunnel.

Length measurement: Encoder mounted on a roller detects strip length to determine cut size. Cutting length adjusts automatically to maintain consistent cube weight.

Cutting mechanism: Pneumatically powered guillotine blade. Cuts during both downward and upward strokes.

Lubrication pump: Supplies oil to the extruded product for smooth discharge.

Connection: Quick-coupling pipe linking the pump to the end of the auger.

This machine can maintain a work cycle of 110 pieces per minute.

Yeast cubes arrive in a single row.

Photocells on the conveyor monitor stack and detect minimum load.

Each tray is erected from a flat blank.

Bundles are transferred into the tray-forming station.

Finished trays are glued at three points using a gluing system.

Depending on cube size, trays are loaded as follows:
17 g cubes: layout 4 × 3 (one layer) and 57 g cubes: layout 3 × 4 (one layer)
