Equipment Description
Millipore Milli-Q IQ 7000 laboratory water purification system with a Q-POD remote dispenser. The IQ 7000 is a compact bench or under-counter ultrapure (Type 1) water system that takes pretreated or tap feed water and delivers water of up to 18.2 MOhm-cm resistivity at 25 C, with dispensing flow at the Q-POD of up to approximately 2 L/min. Systems of this type are used for analytical chemistry, HPLC and LC-MS sample and eluent preparation, cell culture work, and media, buffer and reagent preparation. The main purification unit is shown in photo 1, badged Milli-Q IQ 7000 and installed on a shelf inside a laboratory base cabinet with its power cord and feed/drain tubing connected. The instrument label inside the purification pack bay (photo 2) reads Catalog Number ZIQ7000T0, Serial Number F9EA14544; the bay is marked for the IPAK META and IPAK QUANTA purification pack pair. The unit runs on 100-240 V, 50/60 Hz single-phase power at approximately 350 VA. The Q-POD remote dispenser is shown in photo 3, mounted on a bench next to a sink with its coiled dispensing tubing, articulated dispensing arm and a point-of-use final filter fitted. The dispenser carries the system touchscreen display and a dispense button on the column. Its label (photo 4) reads Q-POD Remote Dispenser, REF ZIQP0D000, Serial Number F9CA01792, 24-28 V, 25 W, built 08-MAR-2019 by Millipore SAS, Molsheim France, and carries CE and UL marks. The system is sold as photographed: the IQ 7000 purification unit and the Q-POD dispenser. No operating condition, service history, consumable life or additional accessories are documented; purification packs, final filters and tubing shown in the photos are installed items and should be verified at inspection.
