Prior to shutting down its facility in preparation for closure, the client initially requested for EquipNet to take a complete inventory of all high-end processing, packaging, and laboratory equipment. Once the shutdown period was complete, EquipNet took inventory of the lower-value assets including laboratory instrumentation and warehouse support equipment.

Due to the magnitude of this project, goals were never static. The client had a substantial number of assets and there was uncertainty on what would be redeployed internally versus what would be sold through EquipNet’s sales channels, resulting in an extremely challenging project.

EquipNet cleared out the entire facility of 1,000+ assets. 117 of these assets were redeployed to 15 different countries across Europe. More importantly, we helped our client save £1.5 Million by redeploying its equipment through us. The client closed out the project with fantastic feedback and EquipNet proved its track record yet again.
