Sterile Facility Asset Management:
Two-Phase Disposition Project

The Client

The client is a leading healthcare provider specializing in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

The Challenge

Assistance was requested for a two-phase asset disposition project at the client’s facility in Cleveland, Mississippi. The first phase began and the client identified 26 surplus assets that were no longer needed in the facility. Part two began a couple years later with an additional 22 assets that needed to be managed; there was no deadline for either phase of this project. Equipment at the facility would be primarily classified as sterile fill/finish equipment, comprised of Aseptic Filling Isolators, Sanitation Sinks, Leak Detectors, Syringe Inspection Machines and quality control equipment such as Liquid and Gas Chromatographs.

The Solution

EquipNet provided the ideal asset management solutions for both phases of the project. The majority of the assets sold successfully and over $20,000 was saved through redeployments alone.
