A global company with 400 brands that span across 14 categories of personal care, home, and food products. This company has been a highly valued corporate client of EquipNet’s for over 10 years.
This project was initiated when the client realized an opportunity to generate return on some assets that were surplus to its ongoing operations. The company did not have a strict deadline as to when they needed the equipment sold by, but an estimated 12 months was communicated as an appropriate timeline to sell these assets.
The facility primarily manufactures and packages ice cream and other frozen food and beverage products. Equipment the client wished to sell included agitators, labelers, horizontal cartoners, wrappers, forklifts, ice cream freezers, chillers, homogenizers, kettles, form fill seal machines and much more.
Since there was no hard deadline for this project, EquipNet recommended listing the equipment onto our Online MarketPlaceTM for negotiated sale. In addition, seven assets were able to be redeployed to other facilities, saving the company thousands of dollars off the cost of new equipment.
