Hend offers over 13 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, specializing in food science with various past leadership roles in the wine, beverage, and cannabis industries.

Dr. Letaief received her Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from the University of Turin in Italy, where she attended several national and international conferences, published three industry articles, and assisted in the preparation and teaching of enology courses.

At the beginning of her professional career, Letaief was a postdoctoral researcher in France, focusing on analysis and technologies within the wine industry. From there she went on to carry on multiple leadership roles relative to the technological food and beverage industry including analytical chemistry, technical compliance, product development, and much more.
