Pall ForteBio Octet RED96e Label-Free Biolayer Interferometry System

The Pall ForteBio Octet RED96e is a benchtop label-free analysis system that uses Biolayer Interferometry (BLI) to measure biomolecular interactions in real time without fluidics or labels. Dip-and-read biosensors are lowered into a standard 96-well microplate, where the instrument monitors association and dissociation optically, making it suitable for kinetic characterization, affinity ranking, quantitation and concentration determination of proteins, antibodies and other biologics in discovery, process development and QC workflows. The system reads eight channels simultaneously from a 96-well sample plate and a 96-well biosensor tray, both visible on the internal stage in photo 2, with an orbital-shaking, temperature-controlled sample compartment and an 8-position sensor pick-up head on the overhead Z-axis drive. Per the manufacturer's published data the platform operates from 100-120/200-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz at 4 A maximum, and it is run from an external PC with Octet Data Acquisition and Data Analysis software (computer, monitor and software not confirmed as included).
