PendoTECH PMAT4R PressureMAT Pressure Monitor

The PendoTECH PMAT4R PressureMAT is a benchtop pressure sensor monitor, alarm and transmitter used with PendoTECH single-use pressure sensors. It is used in bioprocess applications such as filtration, TFF, chromatography and bioreactor operations, where the disposable sensor is placed in the flow path and this unit displays and transmits the reading. The PMAT4R configuration accepts four pressure sensor inputs and provides four relay outputs, which can be used to interface with pumps or valves on alarm set points. The front panel has a backlit LCD display and a membrane keypad with HOME/START, STOP, TARE, ALT, SELECT/PROG and BACK keys for taring sensors to atmosphere and configuring alarm and display settings. Calculated values such as delta P and TMP can also be shown, and the monitor requires no routine calibration. The rear panel, seen in the second photo, carries the model and serial label (Model PMAT4R, Serial #8429), two 9-pin serial ports, terminal-block and D-sub sensor input connectors for channels 1 through 4, the relay output terminals and a barrel power jack rated 12-24 VDC, 2 amp max. The rear panel also carries a CE mark and a RoHS mark. The unit is a compact, hand-carryable instrument measuring approximately 9 x 5 x 5 inches. It is shown sitting loose on a bench with a coiled white sensor cable attached and asset/move labels applied to the housing; no external DC power supply is shown in the photos. Powered-on condition was not verified, as the display is unlit in the photos.
