PolyScience WB20 Heated Water Bath

PolyScience WB20 heated general purpose water bath, a benchtop unit with a 20 liter stainless steel reservoir used for sample warming, incubation, thawing and other routine laboratory temperature-controlled work. The nameplate on the front of the unit reads Model WB20, VAC/Hz/A 120/60/12.0, Serial W41791203, with ETL and RoHS marks and a 120V attached power cord. The unit is microprocessor controlled, with a digital LCD that shows actual and set point temperature together, and a membrane keypad with power, timer, menu, up/down and three programmable preset keys. Published specifications for this model give a 20 liter capacity and a working range of approximately ambient +5 C to 100 C with temperature stability of about +/-0.1 C. As photographed, the bath is fitted with a clear hinged polycarbonate gable cover carrying a VWR logo, and the stainless reservoir has a front drain fitting.
