Stainless Steel Mash Lauter Tun With False Bottom And Hinged Lid
Stainless steel mash lauter tun of vertical cylindrical design, used in a craft brewhouse to mix milled grain with hot liquor and then separate the sweet wort from the spent grain bed. The vessel is fitted with a wedge-wire/perforated false bottom (visible in photo 4) that supports the grain bed during lautering and allows the wort to be run off clear.
The tank measures approximately 54 in diameter and 66 in overall height and is closed by a two-piece hinged top with a full-length piano hinge and a lift handle. The shell is unjacketed, with a bottom side outlet fitted with a sanitary clamp and flexible hose, and an external run-off/return tube running up the side of the vessel. The unit stands on legs on a grated brew-deck floor next to the rest of the brewhouse and is connected by hose and hard piping to the adjacent kettle/hot liquor vessels shown in the photos.

Psycho Brew 10 BBL Capacity Stainless Steel Steam Boil Kettle with a hinged, clamp-closed manway on the dished top head. The vessel is of welded stainless steel construction with a polished exterior and a dished bottom fitted with a center outlet, suitable for holding, heating or cooling liquid product in food and beverage or similar sanitary service.
The tank measures approximately 42 inches in diameter and 60 inches in overall height, giving a working volume in the range of roughly 150 gallons. The top head carries a round hinged manway secured by multiple swing-bolt hand clamps with a gasketed cover, plus a lifting lug and a top nozzle connection. Photo 2 shows the interior: a smooth dished bottom with a single center drain outlet, a vertical rod-style internal fitting near the wall, and no agitator, impeller or internal heating coils.
The jacket is carried on the vessel sidewall, and the exterior shows the welded jacket closure bands at the upper and lower shell.
The unit was photographed in place in an operating process area, standing on floor grating with adjacent piping and hose connections, and will need to be disconnected from surrounding piping before removal. Condition is used; the interior shows light product residue and normal service staining. No agitation drive, controls or electrical components are included.

Stainless steel brewhouse access platform used to provide elevated operator access to the top of the brewhouse vessels in a craft beverage production area. The unit consists of a welded stainless steel frame supporting an open grating deck, with a stair/step section at one end and tubular stainless steel handrails with mid-rails and square post uprights around the walking surface. The platform is freestanding on adjustable leveling feet and sits between the mash/lauter and kettle vessels.
Recorded overall dimensions are approximately 96 in long x 48 in wide x 72 in high with an estimated shipping weight of 600 lbs. The deck is a removable-style serrated grating panel set into the stainless frame, and toe/edge angle is present along the deck perimeter. All wetted and structural surfaces visible in the photos are stainless steel.
Integrated into the platform structure is a stainless steel valve manifold panel fitted with sanitary butterfly valves with blue handle grips and tri-clamp connections, with engraved port legends including mash in, pump out and a drain line. Sanitary tubing and tri-clamp fittings run from the manifold to the adjacent vessels; associated hoses and hardware shown in the photos are not necessarily included.
The platform is currently installed in place within an operating brewhouse and is connected to the surrounding process piping at the manifold, so disconnection of the sanitary lines will be required before removal. Photos show normal shop-floor cosmetic wear on the stainless surfaces.

The lower shell is fitted with a dimpled cooling jacket for glycol temperature control, allowing the tank to be held at fermentation or cold-crash temperatures when connected to a plant glycol system. The top head has a clamp-secured oval manway with handle, plus sanitary tri-clamp ports for a pressure relief/blow-off arrangement and accessory connections. A pressure gauge, a racking/transfer arm with butterfly valve, a sample valve and a bottom outlet with butterfly valve are fitted, along with a temperature gauge and thermowell on the cone.

Psycho Brew steam jacketed stainless steel brew Tank, built in Michigan and used in a craft brewing operation. The vessel is a vertical cylindrical stainless tank with a dished top head, sloped/dished bottom and four stainless legs with bolt-down base plates, and carries the oval "Psycho Brew - Made in Michigan" badge on the upper shell (photo 1). It is arranged as the boil kettle of a brewhouse, with sanitary tri-clamp fittings around the top head and shell and a top-mounted vapor connection.
Heating is by a steam jacket on the lower portion of the vessel. Photo 4 shows the jacket steam connection hard-piped with a union, Y-strainer and steam trap on the condensate side, so the kettle requires a plant steam supply and condensate return rather than electric power. A dial thermometer is mounted on the lower shell (photo 1) and a full-height external sight glass with a graduated volume scale reading from roughly 2.4 up to 13.5 runs down the side of the vessel (photo 5), with a sanitary tri-clamp connection at its lower end.
The tank measures approximately 62 in long by 62 in wide by 108 in high with an estimated shipping weight of 1,800 lbs. The exterior is polished stainless with normal brushing, handling marks and light discoloration consistent with production use; the photographs show the unit still installed in the brewhouse, bolted to the floor and connected to steam piping, so it will need to be disconnected before removal. No control panel, pump or accessories are shown with the vessel in the photographs.

Stainless steel open top cylindrical brewing vessel suitable for use as a hot liquor tank, mash tun or brew kettle in a small-batch brewing or distilling operation. The vessel is single-wall (unjacketed) construction with a flat-ended, open top, welded body seams and a bolt-together tubular stainless leg stand that raises the vessel off the floor for gravity draining into downstream tanks. Overall footprint is approximately 36 in x 36 in with an overall height of about 60 in including the legs.
The interior (photos 2 and 3) shows a smooth polished stainless surface with a lifting handle welded to the upper sidewall and a circular perforated/false bottom screen seated in the lower head, with stainless pickup tubes and a sparge/racking arm assembly resting inside. The exterior carries a side sidewall nozzle with a threaded elbow fitting and a lower drain/outlet tube (photos 1 and 4) for connection of hoses or a transfer pump. Chillking GV072CK3-DCRLT glycol chiller system, a packaged air-cooled chiller used to supply chilled glycol to process or fermentation cooling loops.
The unit is rated at approximately 6 tons (72,000 BTU/hr) and is built on a dual refrigeration circuit design, with two compressors and two condensing sections mounted on top of a stainless steel base cabinet that houses the reservoir, evaporator and circulating pump.
The nameplate lists a power supply of 208/230 volts, 3 phase, 60 Hz, with two compressors at 10.4 FLA / 73 LRA each, two 1/6 HP condenser fans at 0.95 FLA each, and a 1 HP water pump at 7.4 FLA. Minimum circuit ampacity is 33 amps and maximum fuse size is 43 amps. Each refrigeration circuit is factory charged with 72 oz of R-410A, test pressures are 450 PSIG high side / 240 PSIG low side, and the unit is ETL listed (Intertek 3195605) to UL STD 1995 and rated for outdoor use.
The chiller is serial number CK18H3179 with a nameplate date of 18-08-22 (2018). It is installed outdoors on wooden sleepers alongside a building, with insulated glycol supply and return lines run up the exterior wall and flexible electrical conduit landed at the cabinet; these connections will have to be disconnected before removal. Photos show the stainless steel enclosure intact with the manufacturer's label and nameplate legible, weathering and peeling of a coating or covering on one side panel, and surface soiling consistent with outdoor service. No operating condition, hours or accessories were recorded at the visit.

Precision Boilers ST16S-060B-480-15 electric steam boiler, a compact packaged low-pressure steam generator built in Morristown, TN and UL/cUL listed as an electric boiler with integral limit control. The nameplate reads 60 KW input, 480 volts, 3 phase, 72 amperes, arranged as 2 steps of 30 KW, with a maximum working pressure of 15 PSI and a steam output of approximately 210 lb/hr. Nameplate date is 01/2019, serial 21986.
The unit is a self-contained cabinet-style boiler with a hinged front access door over the fuse and contactor sections, louvered ventilation on the upper panel, and a sealed steam chest with immersion heating elements. Visible on the boiler top are the pressure controller, two high-limit pressure controls, a siphon-mounted pressure gauge, a water column/sight glass assembly, and a safety relief valve connection. A local step/KW-limit control panel with power switch and reset is mounted at the right-hand end of the unit.
Because it is electric, the boiler requires no fuel piping, flue or combustion air and can be installed indoors in confined spaces; the 36 inch clearance label on the cabinet indicates the required service clearance. Approximate overall dimensions are 40 in long x 24 in wide x 52 in high with an estimated shipping weight of 900 lbs.
The boiler was photographed in service in a food and beverage (brewery) utility room, hardwired through a wall-mounted fused disconnect and connected to insulated steam and feedwater piping, so it will have to be electrically and mechanically disconnected before removal.
