Sanyo MLS-3750 Top Loading Autoclave

Sanyo MLS-3750 top loading laboratory autoclave (high pressure steam sterilizer), serial number 270243. The unit is a floor-standing, vertical top-load sterilizer intended for routine lab work such as sterilizing media, liquids, glassware, instruments and biohazard waste. The lid opens upward on a sliding open/close lever, so no side clearance is needed, and the low chamber height makes loading baskets from above straightforward. The machine is electrically heated and runs on 120 V AC, single phase, 2000 W as read from the manufacturer's data plate on the front of the cabinet. Published data for this model lists a nominal 50 liter stainless steel chamber approximately 370 mm (14.5 in) in diameter, with microprocessor-controlled sterilizing temperatures in the 105 to 135 degrees C range.
