Equipment Description

SCIEX Triple Quad 6500+ triple quadrupole LC/MS/MS system, serial number DZ227212004 (assembly no. 5060743, REF TRIPLE QUAD 6500+, read from the instrument nameplate). The mass spectrometer is fitted with a SCIEX IonDrive Turbo V ion source (REF 5053815 E, S/N 21533200422) and is configured for quantitative LC/MS/MS work such as small-molecule and peptide bioanalysis in MRM mode. A SCIEX service sticker on the front cover records the last preventive maintenance as 2026/06/01 with the next PM noted for 2026/11. The system is paired with a Shimadzu Nexera XR HPLC front end. Visible in the photos are two SIL-20AC XR autosamplers (one serial L204597 51470), five LC-20AD XR liquid chromatograph pumps (bench-labeled A1, A2, B1, B2 and one on the right-hand stack), two DGU-20A5R degassing units (serials L207057 71511 and L207057 71512), a CTO-20AC Prominence column oven, and a valve/flow-selection unit plumbed between the LC stacks and the ion source. A PC workstation with monitor and keyboard sits alongside the system. The Shimadzu module nameplate reads 100-120 V, 50/60 Hz, 150 VA, with a manufacturing date of 2019-12-13. The instrument was in place and connected in a working biopharmaceutical laboratory at the time of the visit, with solvent bottles, nitrogen/air regulators and sample racks in use; indicator lights are lit on the Shimadzu modules and the valve unit in the photos. The system ships as 14 separate tagged pieces (mass spectrometer, HPLC modules, valve unit and computer/monitor). No performance testing or installation qualification was carried out by EquipNet; condition beyond what the photos show is not represented.
