Equipment Description
MACHINE TYPE:
Thanks to its high flexibility, the Tekpa model TLC-1.0 can be used for various processes in laboratories, pilot plants, or for the production of small quantities. It is a vertical fluid bed bench suitable particularly for drying tests and powder granulation.

FEATURES:
The fluid bed system is a conical/cylindrical container with a vertical development and filters at both ends that allow the passage of an ascending laminar flow of filtered and thermally controlled air. The product container is a truncated cone that contains an interchangeable support mesh. The product is loaded onto the support mesh. A motorized fan draws in air. The product (powders, pellets, granules, etc.) subjected to the ascending laminar air flow fluidizes in the container in a continuous alternation between accelerations due to the central ascending air thrust and decelerations due to lateral fall by gravity. The fluid bed allows for perfect mixing of powders/products and efficient and controlled drying processes.
