Thermo Scientific Orion Star A215 pH/Conductivity Meter

Thermo Scientific Orion Star A215 benchtop pH/conductivity meter. The dual-channel Star A215 measures pH, mV/ORP, conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity and temperature, with a large graphical LCD, f1/f2/f3 soft keys, and setup/mode/log keys for method and calibration control. It logs measurement data on board and provides USB and RS232 output for transfer to a printer or PC, plus a stirrer control key for use with an Orion stirrer probe. The rear of the instrument carries the Orion Star A Series data label reading DC input 9V, 1 Amp, or battery operation on 4 x AA (LR6) cells, so the meter can be run on the supplied power adapter or on batteries. The label is CE marked, and the unit is fitted with an electrode/probe arm mount on the back of the housing. Serial number 57556 is read from the same label. Per the field user's notes, the original box and cords are included. The box pictured holds the 9V power supply, interface/USB and other cords in their bags along with the printed instruction sheets and certificate paperwork. No pH or conductivity electrode is confirmed in the photographs, and the meter's asset tag from the previous facility is still attached. Power-up was not verified during the site visit, and the display is not lit in the photographs.
