Timberline Instruments TL105-HT HPLC column heater, a stand-alone benchtop column oven used to hold HPLC columns at a stable, elevated temperature. Controlled column temperature improves retention time reproducibility, sharpens peaks by reducing silanol tailing, lowers column backpressure and stabilizes baselines for temperature-sensitive detectors such as refractive index, conductivity and electrochemical. The -HT designation is the high-temperature version of the TL-105 platform, rated to approximately 150 degrees C and sized for columns up to roughly 30 cm. The nameplate on the unit reads TL105-HT HPLC Column Heater, one HX-101 heat exchanger, 1/16 in OD x 0.010 in ID, 120 VAC, 150 Watt heater, Timberline Instruments, Boulder, Colorado. Serial number 041121002. The built-in HX-101 stainless steel heat exchanger coil preheats the mobile phase before it reaches the column, so solvent enters the column at the set temperature rather than at ambient. The front panel carries labeled bulkhead INLET and OUTLET fittings, with the instruction to hold the bulkhead connector with a wrench when making or breaking connections, and a Fuji PXF4 digital temperature controller with setpoint and process value displays and membrane keypad. A rocker power switch and mains inlet are at the rear. The hinged insulated lid opens to a long, narrow insulated column cavity with an aluminum heating block, shown in the photos. Condition is as pictured: the enclosure shows light handling marks and there is some residue and light discoloration inside the column cavity. The unit carries a GreenLight Biosciences property asset label. No columns, tubing, fittings, power cord or documentation are shown in the photos, and no operational testing is documented.
