Equipment Description
Agilent Technologies 1290 Infinity UHPLC System with Diode Array Detector
A complete Agilent 1290 Infinity ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography stack, offered as five instrument modules plus the Agilent solvent cabinet, assembled as pictured.
System configuration
- Agilent G4204A 1290 Infinity Quaternary Pump - S/N DEBAN00216. Four-solvent low-pressure gradient pump.
- Agilent G4226A 1290 Infinity Autosampler ("Infinity Sampler") - S/N DE93000577.
- Agilent 1290 Infinity Thermostat for the autosampler - S/N DEBAK08445. The part number is not legible on the unit in the photographs; Agilent 1290 Thermostat modules are G1330B.
- Agilent G1316C 1290 Infinity Thermostatted Column Compartment (TCC) - S/N DEBAC05660.
- Agilent G4212A 1290 Infinity Diode Array Detector - S/N DEBAF01973, fitted with a cartridge flow cell marked "Agilent G4212-6...".
- Agilent solvent cabinet / bottle tray, mounted on top of the stack.
The system is configured as a single-detector UHPLC: quaternary pump, thermostatted autosampler, thermostatted column compartment and diode array detection. There is no second or third detector, no mass spectrometer and no fraction collector.

A note on the model designation
This is a first-generation 1290 Infinity system, not a 1290 Infinity II. Every module front panel reads 1290 Infinity, and every module ID plate carries a first-generation part number (G4204A, G4226A, G1316C, G4212A); Infinity II modules carry G7xxx part numbers.
