DESCRIPTION:
Semi-automatic tablet, capsule and pill counter with electronic counting mechanism, of a convenient small size. The KING TB4 Electronic Tablet Counter offers an extremely versatile and accurate method of counting most shapes of coated and non-coated tablets, capsules, hard and soft gelatine capsules. The machine is highly adjustable, quick to set up and clean with excellent design.

MAIN FEATURES:
The TB4 machine can be considered as two units: a feeder unit consisting of a hopper, a vibratory trough with a glass disc rotating under its outlet and a counting unit consisting of a photo electric cell and light source operating a counter. The hopper contains the bulk tablets with an adjustable plate at the outlet to allow various sizes of tablets to pass through. The product moves along the trough by vibration and drops on to a rotating glass turntable which is driven by a geared motor. This turntable carries the tablets in a clockwise direction causing the products to be deflected outward into a single line by guides, mounted close to the glass, until they reach the take-off plate and outlet arrangement at the front of the machine. At the outlet is mounted a photo electric cell and light source assembly which is positioned in such a way that a single row of tablets fall individually through, breaking the light beam as they fall, thus causing them to be registered on the electronic counter. The tablets then fall past a flap mechanism which flicks over after a pre-selected count has been reached directing the tablets into another container. This set-up allows the filling of alternate containers. At the final outlet position are fitted two plastic outlet funnels which direct the product into the containers. The standard counter will count very accurately any number of tablets from 1 to 10,000.
