BOC EDWARDS CALUMATIC MOD. CRW-1 - Vial washer machine

DESCRIPTION:
The CRW-1 washing machine has been designed to automatically wash the interior and exterior of vials in glass. Designed according to GMP regulations, and to satisfy the most elevated needs and quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry. All contact parts are in stainless steel. Easy and quick format change. Electronic control panel easy to handle.

MAIN FEATURES:
The machine works with two stages of cleaning. In the first stage one cleaning cycle is performed. The second stage of cleaning has 2 washing stations and two drying stations for cleaning and drying both internally and externally the vials. For washing the vials virgin WFI water will be used which then will be filtered and re-used. The machine comprises a main drive with 12 vial holders, and infeed table and outfeed table, a polycarbonate cover of the washbowl and a pump skid for the supply of WFI and compressed air. The dedicated electrical cabinet provides the necessary power supplies. Operator control is facilitated by the MMI interface positioned on the cabinet. Connected to the infeed turntable of the washing machine a loading platform is installed. Vials have to be placed by the operator on this loading platform then the infeed turntable transports the vials to the infeed belts. Vials are pushed into the vial holders and by the rotation of the main drive all vials will pass individual washing stations where they are washed. From the outfeed the vials are transported onto the infeed conveyor of the sterilization tunnel.
