PRISMA MOD. 05C3 - Checkweigher

DESCRIPTION:
The "MOTORIZED Plate" checkweigher for continuous weight control is essentially composed of: a main structure at the center of which is the weight detection system on which the weighing conveyor rests, anchored to it by means of special anti-vibration connections; a feeding conveyor which has the task of equally spacing the incoming packs; an outlet conveyor located downstream of the weighing conveyor to facilitate the connection with the customer's transport; an ejection device which has the task of diverting the packages from the line.

MAIN FEATURES:
The checkweigher is part of a transporting line that controls objects of any type and shape. Going through the weighing surface takes a certain time. Although very short, this time is enough for the scales to take on a position that is proportioned to the weight of the product. When it is about to leave the scales, the object meets the beam of light that crosses the conveyor. This way overshadowed, the fototransistor commands the electric circuit to carry out immediately the weight checking. This weight value is then compared with the two values, inferior and superior, fixed as the acceptance limits. The checkweigher then according to this result accepts or rejects the weigh, consequently let it proceed undisturbed, or divert and reject it. When this latter happens, the object can be diverted towards left or right depending on the type of weight defect (surplus or lack). The machine is not dependent on the downstream machine. The speed of the conveyor belts is adjustable through the three relative parameters: input speed, weighing speed, output speed.
