Equipment Description

10 BBL Capacity Stainless Steel Open Top Tank With Handles

Stainless steel open top cylindrical brewing vessel suitable for use as a hot liquor tank, mash tun or brew kettle in a small-batch brewing or distilling operation. The vessel is single-wall (unjacketed) construction with a flat-ended, open top, welded body seams and a bolt-together tubular stainless leg stand that raises the vessel off the floor for gravity draining into downstream tanks. Overall footprint is approximately 36 in x 36 in with an overall height of about 60 in including the legs.

The interior (photos 2 and 3) shows a smooth polished stainless surface with a lifting handle welded to the upper sidewall and a circular perforated/false bottom screen seated in the lower head, with stainless pickup tubes and a sparge/racking arm assembly resting inside. The exterior carries a side sidewall nozzle with a threaded elbow fitting and a lower drain/outlet tube (photos 1 and 4) for connection of hoses or a transfer pump. No heating jacket, electrical panel, agitator drive or instrumentation is fitted to this vessel, so an external heat source and pump are required.
