EquipNet’s client is a leading international health care company focusing on products for the therapy and care of critically and chronically ill patients inside and outside the hospital. The company develops, produces and markets pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Its products comprise of a comprehensive range of I.V. generic drugs, infusion therapies, and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products.
The client had twenty (20) Auto Syringe Infusion Pumps and six (6) Vital Signs Patient Monitors that were no longer needed. Since the equipment was obsolete, the client engaged EquipNet to assist with the liquidation.
The client completed the inventory, took pictures of the equipment, and sent the information to EquipNet’s equipment specialists to upload and create the listings. Upon EquipNet’s recommendation, the equipment was placed into an auction and marketed accordingly. In order to streamline the shipping process post-auction, EquipNet housed the equipment in its own warehouse.
The equipment was routed to one of EquipNet’s regular lab auctions, resulting in 100% sell-through. EquipNet’s Logistics Team coordinated all pick-ups directly from its warehouse removing any post-sale burden from the seller. EquipNet’s solution generated returns for the seller and opened up valuable space in its facility.
